A breastplate does not hold the saddle in place by magic: it prevents it from sliding backward on a round-backed horse with little or no withers, or on cross-country descents. The included fork also makes it a complete martingale, with no additional purchase required.
🧴 Care instructions
⚠️ Adjust it so that you can fit one flat hand between the leather and the point of the shoulder: if it is too tight, it restricts the shoulder's range of motion, which shows in the stride before it shows on the coat. Clean with glycerin soap, then condition once the leather is dry. ⚠️ Never dry leather near a radiator: it will harden and crack.
