Double-jointed loose-ring snaffle with a hollow mouthpiece: at the same diameter, a hollow mouthpiece weighs less in the mouth than a solid one. Stainless steel, 16 mm mouthpiece, 65 mm rings. On a loose-ring snaffle, the rings do not rotate freely, so the rider’s aids have a more direct effect than with a loose-ring bit. This type of bit is generally well accepted because the mouthpiece remains relatively stable in the mouth.
✨ Key benefits
- ✔ Hollow mouthpiece: lighter in the mouth than a solid mouthpiece
- ✔ Fixed-ring design: stable mouthpiece and more direct action
- ✔ Double-jointed, with no V-shaped pressure on the palate
- ✔ 16 mm mouthpiece, 65 mm rings

🐎 Why choose this product?
With a double-jointed bit, the mouthpiece consists of three parts, and the central section lies flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure on the tongue than a single-jointed bit, but eliminates the V-shaped pressure toward the palate.
🧴 Usage advice
Measure the width from one ring to the other with the mouthpiece stretched out. ⚠️ A bit that is too narrow pinches the corners of the mouth; one that is too wide moves around in the mouth and knocks against the teeth. Allow approximately half a centimetre of mouthpiece to be visible on each side.
