A 2.5-ring eggbutt bit made of flexible synthetic material, with a Port Hard mouthpiece featuring a tongue port.
✨ Key features
- ✔ The Inno Sense collection is made from a synthetic material that is significantly softer than metal, without plasticizers. Horses follow the hand easily and quickly accept this type of mouthpiece.
- ✔ An elastic material that is harder than Port Medium and difficult to flex. The tongue port reduces pressure on the center of the tongue.
- ✔ A milder version of the three-ring (Pessoa): leverage is present and becomes more pronounced when the rein is attached lower down. As the rings are fixed, the bit moves less in the mouth than a 2.5-ring bit with loose rings.
- ✔ This tongue relief is suitable for horses with sensitive tongues or those that stick their tongues out.

🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ Bit size is given in millimetres: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit-sizing gauge, or measure the bit it currently wears: if too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if too narrow, it tightens the corners of the mouth. Choose the thickness according to the mouth: a thick mouthpiece distributes pressure over a larger surface, but can crowd a shallow mouth or a thick tongue. ⚠️ Leverage acts on the poll: use it with a light hand and check the cheekpiece adjustment. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely becomes damaged, but a sharp tooth can wear it down.
