Neutrolac is a sodium citrate-based solution designed to neutralize excess acidity associated with strenuous exercise. Its buffering action helps limit stiffness and cramps in trained horses.

Given one hour before intense exercise, it can help prolong acid–base balance, delay the fatigue threshold and improve endurance. It can also be used immediately afterward to support recovery.
