🐎 Why choose this product?
Faux fur addresses neoprene’s weak point: it does not compress and allows air to circulate, making it suitable for a horse that works for long periods or develops marks at the slightest pressure. A tendon boot protects the back of the cannon bone, where the hind leg or the opposite foreleg can strike. It should be worn during work, never in the field or stable: if worn continuously, it makes the tendon sweat and weakens it instead of protecting it.
🧴 Care instructions
⚠️ Special care required: use a concentrated detergent for leather, sheepskin, suede and nubuck, such as BR leather detergent ref. 764001. Machine washable at up to 30 °C, in a laundry bag, without fabric softener. Do not tumble dry. Place it on a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing outward and the fasteners at the back, directed outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the protection and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them immediately after the session.
