The matching neck cover for the Alaska IV rugs, with 100 g filling.
The neck cover follows the contours of the neck and keeps it warm thanks to its 100 g wadding filling. Like the rug, it is windproof, waterproof and breathable (4,000 mm water column, breathability of 3,000 g/m² over 24 hours). Two Velcro fasteners on each side and two under the neck prevent it from twisting. It attaches to all three Alaska IV rugs — the 300 g, the 100 g and the fleece-lined version. Size M corresponds to rugs from 115 to 135 cm, while size L corresponds to those from 145 to 165 cm.

On a clipped horse, the neck is the first area to get cold and the first place where water seeps under the rug when it rains. A matching neck cover solves both problems at once.
🧴 Care instructions
Fasten all the Velcro closures and place the cover in a sturdy laundry bag: without one, the hardware bangs against the drum, opens and rusts. Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, using a special detergent for outdoor rugs. Do not reproof it: the waterproofing comes from a coating applied to the back of the fabric, which water-repellent products can damage. Once a year, a specialist dry cleaner can take care of the rest.
