This bit combines two features: a Sweet Iron mouthpiece, whose sweet-tasting surface rust stimulates salivation, and full-cheek snaffle rings, which extend the ring on both sides of the mouth.
These cheeks prevent the bit from sliding in the mouth and provide clear lateral guidance: the horse feels the directional cue on the cheek before the bit even acts on the bars. Double-jointed 14 mm mouthpiece.
✨ Highlights
- ✔ Full cheeks: clear lateral guidance; the bit does not slide in the mouth
- ✔ Sweet iron: the surface rust has a sweet taste that stimulates salivation
- ✔ Double-jointed: the central section lies flat on the tongue
- ✔ 14 mm mouthpiece, slim without being harsh
📋 Technical specifications

🐎 Why choose this product?
The full cheeks are especially useful for young horses: they make the directional cue very clear by applying pressure to the cheek on the opposite side. Combined with sweet iron, which encourages chewing, this is a particularly suitable combination for starting a horse under saddle.
🧴 Care instructions
⚠️ The surface rust is intentional: do not remove it with a cleaning product. Rinse with clean water, wipe dry, and leave to air-dry. Make sure the cheeks do not rub against the noseband, and measure the mouth width before ordering.
Composition: mild steel, stainless steel.
