Three leathers, each used where it matters: smooth aniline leather on the outside for appearance, supple leather at the ankle for comfort, and oiled leather on the calf side for grip.
This is a mini-chap designed zone by zone. The aniline leather on the outside is full-grain, open-pore leather: it retains its natural grain, stays supple and breathable, and delivers the clean look sought in competition. Inside and around the ankle, supple leather contours to the leg and prevents painful creases and pressure points. On the inner calf, oiled leather grips the saddle. An extra layer of leather protects the calf from rubbing. The zipper runs from the bottom up, secured by leather snap-button tabs at the top and bottom; the elastic insert running alongside it allows freedom of movement. Elegant dressage-shaped top. To choose your size, measure while wearing your riding outfit, including tall socks: the calf circumference at its widest point, with your knee bent as it is in the saddle, and the height from the floor to the hollow behind the knee. 🧴 Care instructions
Brush off dust, clean with glycerin soap, then condition the leather with a suitable balm as soon as it starts to feel dry. Air-dry naturally, never near a radiator.
