- ✔ Two vertical cheeks on a fixed ring, with two small rings for the gag cheek pieces. The cheeks increase lateral pressure and make steering easier. The ring is smaller than on an ordinary full-cheek bit, so the leverage is reduced.

🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ Bit size is given in millimeters: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit-sizing tool, or measure the bit it currently wears: if it is too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if it is too narrow, it squeezes the corners of the mouth. Choose the thickness according to the mouth: a thick mouthpiece distributes pressure over a larger surface, but can crowd a shallow mouth or a thick tongue. ⚠️ The gag cheek piece replaces the usual bridle cheek piece. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely becomes damaged, but a sharp tooth can nick it.
