Soft leather is Kavalkade’s specialty. The girth is built around a nylon core that gives it structure, wrapped in foam that absorbs jolts, and covered with very supple leather. The result: a girth that follows the horse’s movement instead of restricting it, and that does not harden over time. The short Casper features the very deep cutout that frees the elbow, along with a wider central support area. Girth strap keepers at both ends and elastic on both sides.

The horse extends its shoulder with every lengthened stride. A cutout girth does not press against the elbow at that moment—that is its whole advantage.
🧴 Care instructions
Remove mud and sweat with a damp cloth after every ride, then condition the leather with glycerin soap once or twice a month. Leave it to dry flat, away from a heat source: soft leather that dries too quickly becomes hard and loses its suppleness.

70% leather, 13% cotton, 7% EVA, 5% polypropylene, 5% stainless steel.
