Première XS All Year 600D waterproof sheet rug

Première waterproof sheet without padding: it protects against rain and wind. The outer fabric is 600D ripstop polyester with a waterproof coating and heat-sealed seams. The lining combines a polyester-cotton blend (50/50) with 190T nylon at the chest and lower section. Zinc hardware with a chrome finish.

This XS version fits smaller sizes, from 70 to 100 cm in back length.

🐎 Why choose this product?

XS sizes are designed for ponies, Shetlands and foals: a shortened horse sheet is not a substitute for a cut designed to fit their build. A waterproof sheet is not a cold-weather blanket: without padding, it keeps out rain and wind but does not provide warmth. That is exactly what an unclipped horse living outdoors needs—it keeps its coat for warmth, while the sheet prevents it from getting soaked. ⚠️ For a clipped horse or in very cold weather, padding is required.

🧴 Care and usage advice

Brush the sheet while dry rather than washing it too often: every wash wears down the waterproof coating. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener, as it clogs the breathable membrane. After a few seasons, a reproofing product for technical fabrics will restore the water-repellent finish. ⚠️ The size indicated is the back length: measure your horse from the withers to the base of the tail, along the spine. A sheet that is too short pulls on the shoulders and causes wither injuries; one that is too long twists and may cause the horse to catch its feet in it.
