Instructions for use:
- Submerge the rug in a bucket of water until the fabric is fully saturated, then wring it out.
- If you have limited access to water, you can activate the rug before placing it in a plastic bag and taking it with you where needed.
- The rug will remain activated in this environment for the rest of the day.
- You can also pour water from a hose or water bottle onto the rug, wring out the excess water, then put it on your horse.
- We recommend monitoring the temperature of the outside of the rug and removing it once it warms up.
- It can then either be reactivated in water for immediate reuse or left to dry.
- Precautions should be taken in humid climates, and the rug should be checked more frequently, as moisture can affect the evaporation process in general, whether from the rug or the horse’s sweat.
