The matching neck cover for the Montreal blankets, with 100 g filling.
The neck cover fits snugly around the horse’s neck and keeps it warm thanks to its 100 g wadding. Like the blanket, it is windproof, waterproof and breathable (4,000 mm water column, breathability of 3,000 g/m² in 24 hours). Two Velcro fasteners on each side and two under the neck keep it from twisting. It attaches to all three Montreal blankets — the 200 g, the 100 g and the unfilled version. Size M corresponds to blankets measuring 115 to 135 cm, while size L fits those measuring 145 to 165 cm.

🐎 Why choose this product?
On a clipped horse, the neck is the first area to get cold and the first place where water seeps under the blanket when it rains. A matching neck cover solves both problems at once.
🧴 Care instructions
Close all the Velcro fasteners and place the cover in a thick laundry bag: without one, the hardware hits the drum, opens and rusts. Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle with a special detergent for outdoor blankets. Do not re-waterproof it: the waterproofing comes from a coating applied to the back of the fabric, which a water-repellent product can damage. Once a year, a specialist dry cleaner can take care of the rest.
