“Jorunn” follows the design of our Icelandic horse bridles—with a cut-out anatomical headpiece, soft padding, and no throatlash—and adds a functional noseband with a laterally inserted flash strap. The result: the noseband does its job without ever pressing on the nostrils, so breathing remains completely unrestricted, even during exertion. The leather is supple and naturally tanned. Rhinestones adorn the noseband and browband, complemented by a glitter trim and matching hardware. Supplied without reins; matching reins are available in the catalogue.

A traditional flash strap passes in front of the nostrils and tightens when fastened. Mounted on the sides, it stabilizes the noseband without closing anything off. On a horse working at the tölt, where breathing rhythm matters, the difference is noticeable.

🧴 Care instructions

Remove dust and sweat with a soft cloth after each ride, then condition the leather with a suitable saddle soap or balm. Avoid the rhinestones and glitter trim when applying leather conditioner: greasy products can dull them. Store the bridle in a cover, away from sunlight and moisture.
