Double-layer elastic straps maintain tension while the horse is working, so the protection does not slip down after ten minutes of trotting. A tendon boot covers the back of the cannon bone, where the hind hoof or the opposite foreleg can strike. It should be worn while working, never in the field or stable: continuous wear makes the tendon sweat and weakens it instead of protecting it.
🧴 Care instructions
Place it on a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing outward and the fasteners at the back, pointing outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the protection and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them as soon as the session ends. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator: the neoprene will harden. Regularly check the condition of the Velcro fasteners, as these are the first part to give way.
