  • Simply wash the sheepskin in the same machine, but outside the laundry bag, to ensure the wool is carefully washed and rinsed in the detergent.
  • MATTES® sheepskin items must be washed frequently.
  • Proper maintenance and washing (see MELP MATTES® special detergent) are very important and will allow you to enjoy your product for many more years.

Mattès specializes in the making of saddle pads and accessories from sheepskin. The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008 by opening a shop in the Drôme county (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I could not find suitable equipment in the area. My presence quickly grew by attending dressage contests, local competitions, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, allowing everyone to access quality technical products, tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the town of Orange (in France) and am a partner of the regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer custom-made and personalisable items, and I place great importance on direct relationships with my customers.
