This is the only adjustable model in the selection: when a horse builds muscle or loses weight, there is no need for another half pad—just remove or add a thickness. ⚠️ A half pad cannot correct an ill-fitting saddle. If it is compensating for a saddle that is too wide or too narrow, the saddle needs adjusting, not the half pad: if used incorrectly, it moves the problem rather than solving it.
🧴 Care instructions
Place the half pad on a clean, dry back, pulling it well up into the saddle’s gullet to clear the withers. ⚠️ Sheepskin should only be washed with a concentrated detergent specially formulated for leather, sheepskin, suede, and nubuck: ordinary detergent hardens the leather and causes the wool to felt. Dry flat, never on a heat source.
