The Baucher is distinguished by its upward-pointing cheeks, ending in a ring that attaches to the bridle cheekpieces. It does not have a leverage effect comparable to that of a bit with lower cheeks: it applies slight pressure behind the ears and, above all, stabilizes the bit in the horse’s mouth.
This stability explains its success with sensitive horses: the bit no longer moves, and the hand is better accepted. Solid stainless steel, 50 mm rings, 16 mm mouthpiece.

🐎 Why choose this product?
Many horses considered hard-mouthed are actually bothered by a bit that moves: they resist the instability, not the hand. The Baucher is the first option to try in this case, before moving on to a more severe bit.
🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ The Baucher applies pressure to the poll. The cheekpieces attach to the upper ring, and the reins to the mouthpiece ring. Measure the bit width before ordering.
Composition: stainless steel.
