Girth shape:
- Girth in half-moon shape for horses with narrow chests and well-rounded, prominent ribs just behind the elbows. This is often the case for short-backed horses (such as Arabian mares) for which other girths no longer fit.
- The crescent-shaped cutout moves the girth backward, respecting the thoracic and ventral curves. As a result, the girth is less likely to slip forward on horses that don’t have room for a girth passage.
- The girth also features an additional cutout in the elbow movement area.
