Horses follow the hand easily and quickly accept this type of mouthpiece.

✔ An elastic material that is harder than Port Medium and difficult to flex. The tongue relief reduces pressure on the center of the tongue.

✔ Two vertical shanks on a fixed ring. These shanks press against the side of the cheek and make steering considerably easier. The ring is smaller than that of a D-ring bit, so the leverage effect is reduced.

✔ This tongue relief is suitable for horses with sensitive tongues or that tend to put their tongues out.

📋 Technical specifications

Type: eggbutt bit

Material: Inno Sense

Mouthpiece: Port Hard with tongue relief

Mouthpiece thicknesses: 14 mm / 15 mm / 20 mm

Sizes (mm): 115 / 125 / 135 / 145

🐎 Why choose this product?

The firmness of Inno Sense, for a horse that needs clear contact without switching back to metal.

🧴 Usage advice

⚠️ Bit size is given in millimetres: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit sizer, or measure the bit it currently wears: if it is too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if it is too narrow, it tightens the corners of the mouth. Choose the thickness according to the mouth: a thick mouthpiece distributes pressure over a larger surface area, but takes up too much space in a shallow mouth or with a thick tongue. ⚠️ The upper shanks are attached to the bridle with keepers to prevent them from tipping forward. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely gets damaged, but a sharp tooth can nick it.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0624/0029/9177/files/E25468_W001_01_aea7c910-1d04-4309-b819-ba193fcb5d98.jpg?v=1788472928
https://selleriebucephale.com/en/products/mors-trust-inno-sense-a-aiguilles-port-hard-a-passage-de-langue
