When exposed to humid air and saliva, it develops a sweet-tasting surface oxidation that naturally stimulates salivation: the horse chews more and accepts the bit more readily.

✔ Straight mouthpiece with a low tongue port. It provides the tongue with a little more room and distributes pressure correctly across the bars.

✔ A compact curb bit whose mouthpiece pivots on the shanks, allowing the action to engage more progressively.

📋 Technical specifications

Type: baby curb bit with rotating shanks

Material: Sweet Iron

Mouthpiece: low tongue port

Mouthpiece thickness: 16 mm

Sizes (mm): 115 / 125 / 135 / 145

🐎 Why choose this product?

A little room for the tongue without lifting the bit away from the palate: the first step toward greater tongue freedom when a simple joint presses too much in the center.

🧴 How to use

⚠️ Bit size is given in millimeters: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit measuring stick, or measure the bit it currently wears: if it is too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if it is too narrow, it squeezes the corners of the mouth. ⚠️ A curb bit must always be used with a snaffle bridle and a curb chain, with two pairs of reins. ⚠️ The blue color turns silver-gray or brownish-gray with use, and an orange film appears when the bit remains unused: this is the normal behavior of Sweet Iron, not a defect. A wipe with a damp cloth is enough to remove it. This oxidation is not harmful.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0624/0029/9177/files/E25563_L050_01_1c5e772b-855c-4088-b7f3-8fcbecdb3652.jpg?v=1788644136
https://selleriebucephale.com/en/products/mors-trust-sweet-iron-de-bride-baby-a-branches-tournantes-a-passage-de-langue-bas
