Choose the thickness according to the mouth: a thick mouthpiece distributes pressure over a larger surface, but takes up more room in a shallow mouth or with a thick tongue. ⚠️ Fit rubber bit guards to prevent pinching at the corners of the mouth. ⚠️ The blue colour turns silver-grey or brown-grey with use, and an orange film appears when the bit remains unused: this is normal Sweet Iron behaviour, not a defect.
