The Kudos Thermo Layer 300g turnout rug concentrates warmth on the key muscle areas while remaining lightweight and allowing freedom of movement—a clever concept for targeted protection in the field.

The LeMieux Kudos Thermo Layer rug concentrates warmth where it is truly needed, while reducing the usual bulk of traditional rugs. Designed for use in all seasons, it prioritises protection for the key muscle groups.

The thermobonded filling is quilted to concentrate density over the horse’s topline, with a double layer over the sides and a single layer down to the hem to limit bulk. The 1680-denier ballistic outer, cut without a back seam, ensures complete waterproofing.

The patented two-part skirt reduces tension around the shoulders and hindquarters, while the elasticated gussets follow the horse’s movements without allowing heat to escape.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008 by opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I couldn’t find suitable equipment in the area. My presence quickly expanded by attending dressage competitions, local contests, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, allowing everyone to access high-quality technical products that are tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and am a partner of the regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer custom-made and customizable items, and I place great importance on direct relationships with my customers.
