⚠️ Adjust a halter to allow two fingers under the noseband and two under the throatlatch: if too loose, the horse may catch a foreleg in it while scratching; if too tight, it can interfere with chewing. ⚠️ Never leave a horse in a non-breakaway halter in the field or stall unattended. Hand wash in lukewarm water and air dry.
