A carefully designed bridle with a low noseband — elegant and functional.

The low noseband features a buckle guard and distributes pressure differently from a French noseband. It is anatomically tapered at the back and raised: slightly elevated, it relieves pressure on the nasal bone. The browband is padded and lined.

🐎 Why choose this product?

The low noseband fastens below the bit, across the nostrils: it stabilises the bit and limits mouth opening without ever pressing on the molars, unlike a tightened French noseband.

🧴 Care instructions

⚠️ Adjust the noseband so that two fingers fit between it and the nasal bone, and the throatlash so that one flat hand fits underneath. An overly tight bridle does not make a horse more stable: it prevents the horse from chewing and swallowing. ⚠️ A low noseband must never sit on the soft part of the nostrils, as it would hinder breathing. Clean with glycerine soap after each use, then condition once the leather is dry. ⚠️ Never dry leather near a radiator: it will harden and crack.
