An outdoor blanket designed for draft horses: generously sized chest, fleece lining, 1200-denier ripstop fabric.
Kavalkade explicitly designed it for medium-sized draft horses—for example, a Rhenish German horse measuring between 1.60 m and 1.68 m at the withers and weighing between 700 and 850 kg. The chest is cut wide for these body shapes, and two rings allow for even more precise adjustment. The 1200-denier ripstop fabric is windproof, waterproof (4,000 mm water column), breathable (3,000 g/m² in 24 hours), tear-resistant, and abrasion-resistant. The inside is fleece-lined, with no quilted filling, so moisture is wicked away instead of stagnating. The chest closes with reinforced hook-and-loop fasteners and snap hooks; the crossed surcingle and deep tail flap prevent the blanket from twisting.

🐎 Why choose this product?
A large-size riding horse blanket does not make a draft horse blanket: the chest is what causes problems, not the back length. This one is cut for the right body shape.
🧴 Care instructions
Fasten all hook-and-loop closures and place the blanket in a thick laundry bag: without one, the hardware bangs against the drum, opens, and rusts. Wash at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, using a detergent specially formulated for outdoor blankets. Do not re-waterproof it: the waterproofing comes from a coating applied to the back of the fabric, which a water-repellent product can damage. Once a year, a specialist cleaner can take care of the rest.
