🐎 Why choose this product?
A pony ridden by a child has exactly the same protection needs as a horse, just on a smaller scale: that is what this range addresses, with colors that appeal to riders of the same age. A tendon guard covers the back of the cannon bone, where the hind leg or the opposite foreleg may strike. It should be worn during work, never in the field or stall: when worn continuously, it makes the tendon sweat and weakens it instead of protecting it.
🧴 How to use
Place it on a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing outward and the fasteners toward the back and directed outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the protection and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them as soon as the session ends. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator: the neoprene will harden. Regularly check the condition of the Velcro fasteners, as these are the first part to give way.
