This high quality double jointed Baucher bit, with upward pointing shanks with ring and with leverage, is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings.
Material :
- Cuprigan is an alloy composed of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron and 1% zinc.
- The oxidation process of the material gives off a pleasant smell and taste.
Features:
- The anatomical design conforms to the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a gentle and even pressure distribution.
- The combination of design and the unique composition of Cuprigan helps to stimulate chewing and salivation, resulting in a delicate connection with the horse's sensitive mouth.

A Baucher bit has rising branches with a ring to be attached to the cheek pieces. Unlike other snaffles, this bit has a small leverage and exerts pressure behind the ears. The bit is ideal for sensitive horses.
On a ring bit double break The barrel is in three parts. The central part of the barrel rests flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure on the tongue than with a single-jointed bit. The thicker the central part, the greater the pressure on the tongue.
