Use a stiff brush to remove hair, dust and dried sweat, then machine wash at 30°C on a wool cycle or hand wash with a special wool detergent, making sure to fasten the Velcro securely before washing. Lay the fabric flat and leave it to air-dry, never tumble-dry. Avoid strong fabric softeners.
