This is the M12 equivalent of the 12 mm pointed stud: same use, different thread pitch. M12 thread, a metric pitch. ⚠️ It is not compatible with a W3/8-tapped horseshoe: check the thread pitch of your stud holes before ordering.
🧴 Usage advice
Clean the stud hole with a tap and then a brush before screwing in the stud: forcing a stud into a dirty hole can damage the horseshoe thread. ⚠️ Remove the studs as soon as the event is over and plug the stud holes: a horse that remains shod with studs in its stall, pasture, or trailer may injure itself while lying down or moving around.
