🐎 Why choose this product?

Fourteen millimetres is the intermediate base size in the Bocelli range: wide enough to provide support, yet slim enough for most horseshoes.

🧴 Usage advice

⚠️ Choose based on the ground, not habit: hard, dry ground calls for a thinner stud; wet or deep ground calls for a thicker one. The outer studs should be the same length as the inner ones, or no more than 0.5 cm longer — beyond that, the foot lands unevenly. Clean the hole with a thread-cleaning pick and run the tap through it again before screwing in the stud: a dirty thread damages both the stud and the horseshoe. Remove the studs as soon as the event is over; never transport or stable the horse with them in.

About TRUST Equestrian ...

TRUST Equestrian is a Dutch brand specializing in bits and leatherwork. Its bits are designed, developed, and manufactured in the Netherlands, where a team of technicians assembles them by hand. Production of Sweet Iron mouthpieces began more than fifteen years ago, followed by Leather and then Inno Sense mouthpieces. The range now includes three materials, twenty-two mouthpieces, and thirty-four types of shanks, totaling more than two thousand different bits. TRUST bits are anatomically shaped: slightly curved, they follow the shape of the horse’s mouth. The leather collection is made from European full-grain leather, and each model takes the anatomy of the modern horse into account.
