A fetlock boot protects the inside of the cannon bone and fetlock, where the opposite limb can strike when the horse brushes or turns sharply. It should be worn during work, not in the pasture or stall: if worn continuously, it makes the limb sweat instead of protecting it. This is the all-purpose model: a classic cut, a soft lining, and machine-washable care.
🧴 Instructions for use
Place it on a clean, dry limb, with the shell facing outward and the fasteners directed toward the rear and outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the boot and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them as soon as the session ends. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator. Regularly check the condition of the hook-and-loop fasteners, as these are the first part to fail.
