SENSOGAN, the new exclusive material for Sprenger bits.

SENSOGAN is the new non-toxic alloy developed by Sprenger. This alloy is accepted extremely quickly by horses. It is made with a reduced percentage of copper and the addition of the trace element manganese.
SENSOGAN has improved properties but also a completely new appearance. Unlike Aurigan, SENSOGAN oxidizes less aggressively, salivation is better regulated throughout the training session. Moreover, it tarnishes less. The shine lasts longer and this alloy is easier to maintain than Aurigan.
All SENSOGAN bits are recognizable by the black rings on the sides of the bit.
The collaboration between Sprenger experts and the Veterinary School of Hanover and the German Riding School of Warendorf led to this new development!

The WH-Ultra bits are the perfect example of our collaboration with professionals. SPRENGER developed these bits with the internationally successful rider Lisa Wilcox and her then trainer Ernst Hoyos. The WH-Ultra bits are the result of a series of tests that brought innovation to the KK-Ultra bits.

The KK ULTRA type mouthpiece, whose central olive is angled at 45°, ensures gentle but effective communication with the horse. A movable roller has been inserted in the middle of the central olive. By drawing the horse’s attention to the tongue, the horse becomes more responsive to aids.

This bit stimulates the tongue, encouraging the horse to chew and salivate. This bit relaxes the jaw. The experience that Ernst and I had with this bit showed us that this stimulation makes the horse more quickly willing to accept the bit. The entire top line relaxes and allows better movement. This enables more suppleness and greater harmony.

Make sure to place the bit correctly in the horse’s mouth. The arrow engraved on all KK Ultra bits must be on the left side and point forward.
