This high-quality double-jointed Baucher bit, with upward-facing shanks with rings and lever effect, is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings.

Material:

  • Cuprigan is an alloy composed of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron, and 1% zinc.
  • The oxidation process of the material releases a pleasant smell and taste.

Features:

  • The anatomical design fits the shape of the horse’s mouth, creating a soft and even pressure distribution.
  • The combination of the design and the unique Cuprigan composition stimulates chewing and salivation, resulting in a gentle connection with the horse’s sensitive mouth.
  • The upward-facing shanks with a ring are slightly turned outward, ensuring optimal freedom for the horse’s head.

Dimensions:

  • Mouthpiece 16 mm
  • Shank length 110 mm.
  • Sizes 125 to 145

A Baucher bit has upward-facing shanks with a ring to attach to the cheekpieces. Unlike other bridles, this bit has a slight lever effect and applies pressure behind the ears. The bit is ideally suited for sensitive horses.

On a double-jointed loose ring bit, the mouthpiece is in three parts. The central part of the mouthpiece rests flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure on the tongue than with a single-jointed bit. The thicker the central part, the greater the pressure on the tongue.
