Six-sided heads provide a more secure grip with a wrench than four-sided heads: the head is less likely to round off after repeated tightening. W3/8 thread, the most widely used Whitworth thread size for tapped horseshoes in Europe. ⚠️ It is not compatible with an M12-tapped horseshoe: check the thread size of your stud holes before ordering.
🧴 Instructions for use
Clean the stud hole with a tap and then a brush before screwing in the stud: forcing a stud into a dirty stud hole can damage the horseshoe’s thread. ⚠️ Remove the studs immediately after the event and plug the stud holes: a horse that remains shod with studs in its stall, in the pasture, or in the trailer may injure itself while lying down or moving around.
