Mud fever is caused by prolonged moisture on the skin, not by the mud itself. Breathable protection is therefore preferable to waterproof protection, which would trap sweat and produce exactly the same effect as mud.
🧴 Instructions for use
⚠️ These are not riding protections: do not use them when riding. Put them on a clean, dry leg — on a leg that is already damp, they will make the problem worse. Check the legs every day and rinse the protections regularly.
