🐎 Why choose this product?

A tendon boot covers the back of the cannon bone, where the hind leg or the other foreleg may strike. It should be worn during exercise, never in the field or stall: if worn continuously, it makes the tendon sweat and weakens it instead of protecting it. This is BR's entry-level model: it provides protection, has a secure closure, and comes in a range of colors to coordinate your horse's entire outfit.

🧴 Care instructions

⚠️ The Shetland size is not available in all colors. Place it on a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing outward and the closures at the back, pointing outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the boot and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them immediately after the session. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator: the neoprene will harden. Check the condition of the hook-and-loop fasteners regularly, as they are the first part to wear out.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008 by opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I couldn’t find suitable equipment in the area. My presence quickly expanded by attending dressage competitions, local contests, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, allowing everyone to access high-quality technical products that are tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and am a partner of the regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer custom-made and customizable items, and I place great importance on direct relationships with my customers.
