🐎 Why choose this product?
A hind leg that crosses over or strikes with the hind hoof hits higher than the foreleg: a standard boot stops below the area being struck. A tendon boot covers the back of the cannon bone, where the hind leg or the other foreleg may strike. It should be worn during work, never in the pasture or stall: if worn continuously, it makes the tendon sweat and weakens it instead of protecting it.
🧴 Care instructions
Fit it onto a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing outward and the fastenings at the back, pointing outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the protection and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them immediately after the session. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator: the neoprene will harden. Regularly check the condition of the hook-and-loop fasteners, as these are the first part to fail.
