Foster series oiled leather is nourished with vegetable oils during tanning: the pores open and the oil penetrates deeply through several layers. The leather remains supple for years, does not dry out, and develops a slightly distinctive patina, especially visible on the brown version. This version features synthetic sheepskin secured with hook-and-loop fasteners: it can be removed for washing and replaced when worn. The half-moon cut keeps the saddle in place on horses with narrow shoulders and short backs, where it would usually slip forward.

🧴 Care instructions
The synthetic sheepskin detaches via its hook-and-loop fasteners and can be hand-washed at 30°C or machine-washed in a laundry bag. Lay it flat to dry; never tumble-dry it. The leather should be cared for separately with glycerin soap.
