The throatlash is the part that is most often lost or broken because it is unbuckled every time the bridle is removed.

🧴 Care instructions

⚠️ Adjust it loosely: you should be able to fit one flat hand between the throatlash and the horse's cheek. If tightened, it restricts the flexion of the neck. Clean with glycerin soap, then condition once the leather is dry. ⚠️ Never dry leather near a radiator: it will harden and crack.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008, opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I could not find suitable equipment in the region. My presence quickly expanded through participation in dressage shows, local competitions, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, giving everyone access to high-quality technical products that have been tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and have been a partner of regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer bespoke and customizable items, and I attach great importance to direct relationships with my customers.
