This small bridle is designed for the smallest breeds. The high-quality supple leather stays beautiful for a long time. The headpiece, noseband, and straight browband are padded to prevent pressure on a sensitive head. The padded combination noseband is generously cushioned and fitted with a protective keeper flap over the buckle; the cheekpieces have concealed fastenings.

A pony bridle is not a horse bridle scaled down: head proportions are different, and a model that is too large will float instead of staying in place. This model is tailored to small breeds, including Shetlands.
🧴 Care instructions
Clean the leather with glycerin soap after each use, then condition it regularly. ⚠️ Never dry it near a heat source: the leather will harden and crack. Check the stitching and buckles, as these are the parts that fail first. ⚠️ Adjustment: the noseband should sit two fingers below the cheekbone, and you should be able to fit two fingers flat between it and the nasal bone. A noseband that is too tight prevents the horse from chewing, which goes against the comfort intended here.
