  • 2 2.4 GHz high-gain 5 dB antennas
  • 1 12.7 cm screen
  • 1 suction cup windshield mount
  • 1 power cable for cigarette lighter socket (with switch)

Quick start

  1. Fully charge the camera using the USB Type-C charging cable.
  2. Screw the longer antenna onto the camera and the shorter one onto the screen. Bend the antennas at their joints.
  3. Attach the camera inside the van using the magnetic base or the adhesive hook-and-loop plate. Place it high up so that your horse cannot reach it! With the hook-and-loop fastener: separate the two sides, remove the protective film and stick the “velvet” side inside the van. Then position the plate with the “hooks” side onto the velvet: the camera is held in place by the magnets.
  4. Press and hold the camera’s power button to turn it on. A blue light flashes slowly near the button. The easiest way is to rotate the camera for easy access to the button.
  5. Hand-tighten the side nuts so that the camera does not tip over during the journey.
  6. Connect the screen to your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket / power outlet. Press the red button on top of the plug so that the red light comes on. In some vehicles, the ignition must be turned on to power the screen.
  7. The screen should start automatically and display the camera image. If not, see the Troubleshooting section.
  8. Attach the suction cup to a flat surface and install the screen.
Once you arrive at your destination, remember to turn off the camera by holding down the power button until the flashing blue light turns off.

Troubleshooting

The screen is not paired with the camera

The screen is normally paired with the camera at the factory. If it is no longer paired, proceed as follows:

  1. Turn on the camera with the power button: a blue indicator light flashes steadily.
  2. Immediately press the power button three times in quick succession.
  3. On the screen, hold down MENU.
  4. Press + UP to go to « settings » (settings).
  5. Select « settings » by pressing MENU.
  6. Scroll down with - DOWN to « Pairing » (pairing).
  7. Press MENU to select the camera.
  8. The screen restarts automatically.

The screen and camera turn off after a while

  1. Open « settings »: hold down MENU, press + UP until you reach « settings », then select it with MENU.
  2. Scroll down with - DOWN to « camera working time setting » (camera operating time).
  3. Press MENU.
  4. Scroll through the options with + UP.
  5. Once you reach « always on » (always on), press MENU.

You can also choose a duration before the screen turns off. The screen has a motion detector that automatically switches to energy-saving mode if no movement is detected for the selected duration: the screen and camera turn off without any action on your part. To reactivate them, simply move your hand within 4 inches (approximately 10 cm) of the screen.

We recommend using « always on » mode (always on).
