The BR Hitchin bridle is designed to be supple from day one: its Italian leather quickly adapts to the horse’s head, without the usual break-in period of a new bridle. The anatomical headpiece, lined with soft padding, relieves sensitive areas behind the ears. The noseband is also anatomical and padded, distributing pressure evenly. The 20 mm noseband features 30 mm of central anatomical padding and Sugar Crush piping with STELLUX™ crystals. The strap is attached with a V-shaped fastening and equipped with a buckle guard.

Leather that is already supple upon delivery makes a difference on the first outing: the bridle fits the horse’s head right away instead of creating pressure points for weeks. This is the main selling point of this model, especially for a horse that dislikes new tack.
🧴 Care instructions
Clean the leather with glycerin soap after each use, then condition it regularly. ⚠️ Never dry it near a heat source: the leather will harden and crack. Check the stitching and buckles, as these are the parts most likely to fail first. The crystals are deeply set; nevertheless, avoid rubbing the browband with an abrasive product. ⚠️ Adjustment: the noseband should sit two fingers below the cheekbone, and you should be able to fit two fingers flat between it and the nose bridge. A noseband that is too tight prevents the horse from chewing, which goes against the comfort this bridle is designed to provide.
