SENSOGAN is the new non-toxic alloy developed by Sprenger. This alloy is accepted extremely quickly by horses. It is composed of a reduced percentage of copper with the addition of the trace element manganese.
SENSOGAN has improved properties as well as a completely new appearance. Unlike Aurigan, SENSOGAN oxidizes less aggressively, and salivation is better regulated throughout the training session. In addition, it tarnishes less. Its shine lasts longer, and this alloy is easier to maintain than Aurigan.
All SENSOGAN bits can be identified by the black rings on the sides of the bit.
The collaboration between Sprenger experts, the Hanover Veterinary School and the German Riding School in Warendorf led to this new development!

The Bemelmans model was specially designed:
Curved mouthpiece angled upward and forward: improved bit acceptance thanks to pressure being distributed across the entire tongue.
Thickness reduced to 13 mm at the tongue passage to take up less space in the mouth and avoid pressing against the palate.
The horse loses the desire to raise or pass its tongue over the bit.
The snaffle bit can more easily find its place behind the mouthpiece of the Weymouth bit, which is angled forward.
