Kavalkade has separated the pad from its shims. The pad is sold separately, in two sheepskin thicknesses, with internal pockets and no Velcro or stitched edging—nothing that could mark the horse’s back. The shims are ordered separately in three materials and three thicknesses, and can be freely combined between the front and rear.

A horse building muscle, a season passing, or a riding-school stable where one saddle is used on several horses: with one pad and three sets of shims, you can adapt to all these changes. A corrective half pad is a useful temporary solution, but it does not replace a properly fitted saddle—Kavalkade reminds us of this, and so do we.
🧴 Care instructions
Wash at 30°C with a special sheepskin detergent; never use fabric softener. Dry flat in the open air, away from any heat source. Always follow the care label.
