🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ Choose according to the ground, not habit: on hard, dry ground, use a thinner stud; on wet or deep ground, use a thicker stud. The outer studs should be the same length as the inner ones, or no more than 0.5 cm longer—beyond that, the hoof lands crooked. Clean the hole with a stud-hole cleaner and run the tap through it again before screwing in the stud: a dirty thread damages both the stud and the horseshoe. Remove the studs immediately after the event; never transport or stable the horse with them in.
