HO Weymouth - Sensogan
The “HO” Weymouth bit combines a forward-angled mouthpiece with a smooth, rounded tongue passage: pressure is finely distributed across the tongue, and the horse accepts the contact more readily.
Its slim 12 mm mouthpiece leaves room for the bridoon in an already crowded mouth.
The Weymouth bit is positioned lower than the bridoon, where the mouth narrows: allow for 1/2 to 1 cm less than your bridoon.
Sensogan is Sprenger’s proprietary alloy, made from copper and manganese: it promotes regular, continuous salivation, relaxes the jaw, oxidizes very little, and retains its golden shine for a long time. All Sensogan bits have two black circles on the sides.
