MAX-Control 3-TYPE 16 mm bit with locking mechanism – Stainless steel
The Max-Control 3-TYPE combines the advantages of a two-ring snaffle and a loose-ring bit: a mouthpiece with loose rings and several rein positions, with or without leverage on the poll, depending on its use and the rider’s level of training. The double-jointed mouthpiece locks when the horse pulls and releases as soon as the horse yields.
Key features

- Combines the advantages of a two-ring snaffle and a loose-ring bit.
- For training and correcting the horse.
- Locks at a certain angle and acts like a straight bit; unlocks as soon as the contact softens.
- Several rein positions, depending on its use and the rider’s level of training.
- 16 mm mouthpiece, 70 mm rings.
The Max-Control mechanism
- At a glance, there is nothing to distinguish a Max-Control from a standard double-jointed bit.
- From a certain angle — when the rider firmly takes up the rein or the horse pulls strongly — the mouthpiece locks and briefly forms a straight bar. The effect is gentle, while still allowing precise communication.
- As soon as the horse yields and the contact becomes light again, the bit immediately unlocks.
- A training and correction bit that can also be used on sensitive mouths with a soft hand.
Stainless steel finish
- Neutral in the horse’s mouth, highly durable, and requiring no special maintenance.
