fairRider spurs - aluminium, rounded

The rounded end of the shank provides gentle yet precise action when you ask for it.

Every horse is different: anodized aluminium fairRider spurs offer an alternative to classic models for horses with sensitive flanks, those that tense up, swish their tails, or resist the spur. Aluminium makes the spur significantly lighter than steel, while the smooth surface softens contact.

Two shank lengths, 20 and 25 mm, and four finish combinations: black or silver body, black or silver shank, to match your boot.

Length from the boot

Shank Length from the boot Rowel
25 mm 29 mm without rowel

Shank: the shank length, as specified by Sprenger. Length from the boot: from the boot heel to the end of the spur, including the arch - this is the measurement used in competition regulations. Permitted lengths and rowels depend on the discipline, level, federation, and country: check the current regulations before entering a competition.

Spur straps are not included: choose them from our spur strap section, in leather, Perlon, or BioThane.
