Size: the spur length as specified by Sprenger—the shank alone on models without a rowel, and the shank plus the protruding part of the rowel on the others. This is the size you select above.
Length from the boot: from the heel of the boot to the tip of the spur, including the heel band and rowel. Value provided by Sprenger for each model.

For competition

Regulations measure the spur from the boot, not the shank alone: the second column is therefore the one that matters. The permitted lengths and rowels depend on the discipline, competition level, federation and country, and they change from one season to the next. Before entering, check the regulations currently in force for your competition.

ULTRA fit stainless steel spurs with the thinner Balkenhol angled fastening: a more precise position on the boot and less rubbing against the leather.

Key features

  • Thinner Balkenhol angled fastening: the spur sits better on the boot.
  • The strap passes inside the boot, resulting in less rubbing.
  • European patent filed by Sprenger.
  • Stainless steel, unisex model.
  • Can be adjusted to fit by bending them slightly.
  • Made in Germany. Straps not included.
